What do they do?

Northern Visuals are a commercial, video production agency with an in house team, consisting of: film makers, drone operators, editors and photographers. All assisted by state of the art equipment and facilities.

Why They Started The Business…

Realising there were not a lot of opportunities to continue a career in film post-graduation, the founders of Northern Visuals decided to create their own by focusing on what they had a passion for. From there, they discovered the benefits of starting your own business: freedom, flexibility, and managing/leading people. Hiring others has meant they can focus on what they enjoy doing and the progression of the business rather than just the day by day.

Their Unique Selling Point…

They place creativity first, never make compromises and create and maintain strong client relationships. Though for them, attention to detail is key, seeing what their competition are doing, not being complacent with style and above all, making sure they give 100% no matter the client. Altogether, this has meant they have been able to work with a range of different businesses from Humberside Police to Cranswick PLC.

Why Did They Choose Hull Youth Support Trust?

It appealed to us because it supported start-ups, something we very much were at the time. From our point of view, when you are a start-up, you need to take nice, small steps and that’s what this is – providing the opportunity to progress at your own pace whilst creating a space that reflects your business. The space has also meant not taking work home, being able to bring clients in and the ability to create natural relationships with other businesses in the building.
